Would you move without yoru bf/gf?

I live in Nebraska. I was offered a job in virginia. after taking into consideration cost of living expenses, i would be mak,ing 13k more there than i would here. Here in ne, i am currently without a job., They would also pay a deposit on my apartment, give me 1000 cash, and give 500 each month for a housing allowance. Well, this is fantastic. the only problem: i live in NE with my BF, who is getting ready to go into an apartment complex deal where he will be making 5-12 k a month. I would be making 5 k there in virginia. Well, so he probably cant move with me. i have been seeing him for 4 months now, and we love each other. we have moved in together too. i can see this going for a very very long time, and so can he. He says part of him is kicking himself because he wants to tell me to stay and never leave, but the other part of himself is sad because he sees what a great oppertunity it is for me and hes sad because he feels like here, i am just getting thrown to the curb with my dreams smashed. He said he is trying to not be selfish, and think of me first. Well, i am not sure what to do. Yea, its only been 4 months, and this is the opportunity of a lifetime. but i am not sure if it is worth what i would lose here to gain that out there.
