Advertising/promoting my youtube?

I want to promote or advertise my youtube channel. i got the idea from a comment on a Cimorelli video, the perosn saying 'i am gong to go to a walmart and run around yelling 'comorelli rocks' and i wanted to be able to have people recognize my videos and channel.. so first off, where can i tape a sign up that said msallycheesecake on youtube rocks or something like that?? also if u see this can u tell all ur friends about my channel or something? also u have other ways 2 advertise a youtube channel??
