to be honest, there is no real way to deal with losers like that. im sensing that he might get violent so you may need to defend yourself. Honestly, this is your religion, you are not stepping on his metaphorical toes and you are doing your own thing. You need to step up and tell him to back off or else, otherwise he'll just keep coming back at you. Dont try to convince him, as this will lead to further argument as you have believed something all your life and so has he, which will just lead to a stalemate. Just make it clear that you are not the person to be messed with. Also, by ignoring the person and not reacting to his clear attempts to rile you up, you are taking his wind and he will deflate eventually cause no one is reacting or rebutting his statement.
