Please answer ? I think I want him back .. what do you think ?

soo me and my ex broke up about 3/4 months ago and we talked again after about a month. he said he still had my name next to a heart and that we would still be together if people just kept their mouths shut. Well we broke up because he said I was boring. But my friend said he was gonna breakup with me but then my ex told me he wasn't! and about a moth later we stopped talking. It's now like the 3/4th month since the breakup (I broke up with him) an he stares at me whenever we see eachother . but he talks on te fine with my friend 24/7 I think he likes her but idk. I would go back out with him but we haven't talked for about a month.. should I text him and then tell him later ? should I move on ? should I mak him JEALOUS to get him back ?
