One of my best friends here is married to an American but there is spousal and child abuse. What to do?(read)?

One of my best friend is married to an American and we found out after he got arrested last nightthat he never applied for her status to be here. He told her he did but it turns out that is one of his many lies. To mak mattersworse, her young child claims she was touched by him and she also had him arrested for false imprisonment. She just found out about te kid but has no money to get away from him. A coworker said she thinks she can file for spousal and child abuse to get immediate status to at least be able to relocate and get away from this monster she gave up everything in her home country to be with including her job and home. She is going to get the reports. She is staying with me now and I am trying to see if we can find a safe placebecause he knows where i live. Any advice on this?
