My friend is comiting suicide?

Last week me and my friends mom went to go get our hair done when one of the women who worked there asked her if she had a boyfriend and she kept saying she was going to hook up with this guy so the women in the shop burst out laughing .Im 13 and she's 10 so I told what hook up means and now shes non-stop calling me about that crying and yelling and one time I came over she said she's comiting suicide the morning there coming back,and that's next week.But I knew what she meant so she wrong or the shop.
